About BG Ledger
BG Ledger publishes Bulgaria's official numbers in a form both people and machines can use: every figure with its legal basis, its source and the date it was checked — in English and Bulgarian.
What is here
- Tax & labour parameters — tax rates, VAT thresholds, minimum wage, insurable-income caps, social-security contribution rates and statutory deadlines, by year, with the article of law that sets each one.
- State Gazette (Държавен вестник) — every act in the official section, indexed by issue, issuing authority and act type, within hours of publication (Tuesdays and Fridays).
- Coming next — regulated electricity, gas, heat and water tariffs by supplier; the national medicines price and reimbursement list; population by settlement; the national tourist register.
Where the numbers come from
Only primary sources: the State Gazette (dv.parliament.bg), laws and decrees as promulgated, the National Revenue Agency, the National Social Security Institute, regulators (КЕВР, НСЦРЛП) and the National Statistical Institute. Official texts of the Bulgarian state are excluded from copyright by Art. 4 of the Copyright Act (ЗАПСП), which is what makes a public reference like this possible. We never copy commercial legal databases.
How values are verified
Automated datasets (the State Gazette) are parsed from the official feed and checked for consistency on every run. Curated values (tax and labour parameters) are entered by hand from the primary source and carry a badge: Verified against source with the date of the check, or Pending verification when the number is published but the underlying document has not yet been re-read. A value is never silently changed: history stays visible on every parameter page.
